To promote women entrepreneurship, SAL have started this initiative. In liaison with different government blocs like NABARD/ Khadi/ NIMSME/Janasikshana Samsthan/ Krushi Vignan Kendra, training in various courses are given to women to start their own micro enterprises.
Training such as food processing, beautician course and fashion designing to name a few are imparted. Women are also trained to set up their own units to prepare food items like papads (cracker/flatbread), pickles and other local snacks.
Besides this, women are given financial assistance to set up their own small-scale businesses and provide employment for other women.
