A family that nourishes the morale of its members creating harmonious lives brings forth citizens who contribute positively to society. Falling back on the origins of the Society of St. Ann, SAL has adopted 150 families in the neighbouring villages of Avanigadda, Nunna and S.A.Peta.
SAL strives to provide these families with holistic development through social initiatives, psychological counselling, economic initiatives and spiritual enhancement. Through constant family visits, help is rendered in various forms be it educational support for poor students, medical relief, counselling, financial help for pregnant women, people’s rights awareness, tuition centres etc.
Gatherings are arranged to foster unity and instil moral values. Families which are facing the most hardships are given urgent attention to strengthen the morale of its members and their relationship bonds. Special attention is also given to senior citizens. SAL ensures that these families are aware of available government schemes and motivates them to utilise these schemes for the benefit of their families.
